Birds operated by themselves

By on February 24, 2013

We are working hard on making some playable gameplay prototype right now and here’s a a bird operated solely by itself with the help of artificial intelligence.

It’s not maybe the most “smart” bird, but it can whirl over it’s nest if it doesn’t have anything else to do.

While working on game AI we’ve been reading some books regarding game AI. The most useful one was “Programming Game AI by Example” by Mat Buckland. It’s not the book that gives you answers to everything you’d like to know, but has some information about game AI design and fuzzy logic. It’s a little bit old though as some of the techniques are not applicable to nowadays complicity of the games.
